Conversion of a small extension into a large orangery
This house in Billingshurst had a small dining area extending from the kitchen but it was too small to use as a living area and a waste of south facing aspect. The reduced access from kitchen to dining area left anyone in the kitchen isolated from the dining area. The improvement project involved replacing this dining area with a much bigger area that offered integrated living between kitchen dining area and seating area
The small dining area was ripped out and the new larger area is mapped out
The bigger extnesion takes shape. It being well insulated and with underfloor heating
The orangery lantern is fitted and the new roof line shaped to match the exiiting house design
The surrounding terrace conversion from decking to Indian sandstone completed
Inside the orangery extension is very different from a conservatory. It is more like a light blessed living room
With a wonderful full view of the garden
The orangery extension has a modern feel and the stove reflects this
Whether it is a conservatory that is required or an orangery or a bespoke extension we at Sussex Conservatories can help
